Ingredients:
Bengal Gram Flour, Sugar, Iodized Salt, Acidity Regulator (INS 330), Sodium Bicarbonate (INS 500 ii) & Asafoetida.
Preparation methods:
To Khaman Mix, add 200ml of water and mix it well gently to prepare a soft paste. Now open the Sodium Bicarbonate sachet, add it to the paste and mix it constantly to form a foamy paste. Pour this paste properly into a plate brushed with oil. Put this plate into a steamer on high flame for 15-20 minutes. Remove the plate and let it cool for 5 minutes. Spread prepared sugar syrup and the seasoning on the ready khaman. Cut into cubes and serve.
For Sugar Syrup: Take 4 tbsp water and add ½ tbsp sugar, mix well and boil for 1 minute.
For Seasoning: Heat 1 tbsp edible oil, ½ tsp mustard seeds, curry leaves, Green chilli and a pinch of Asafoetida (Hing). After cooling the khaman slightly, evenly spread the seasoning on top and garnish with finely cut coriander leaves.
