Ingredients:
Rice Flour, Split Black Gram Flour, Iodized Salt, Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Fenugreek seeds, Red Chilli Powder, Iodised Salt, Edible Vegetable Oil (Groundnut Oil), Mustard Seeds, Asafoetida.
Preparation Method:
Step 1: Add 200 ml of water to the Dhokla Mix and stir gently until the batter becomes smooth. You may also add little quantity of chopped green chillies (optional). Keep the batter aside for 10-15 mins.
Step 2: Grease the baking tray with oil. Preheat the empty tray by steaming it in a cooker or big vessel. Now add the 12g small pouch in the mixture along with 2 tbsp of oil, stir well.
Step 3: Pour the batter into the baking tray and steam it for 15-20 mins. Your Dhokla is now ready. (If pressure cooker is used do not apply whistle.) Allow to cool for 5 mins. Cut the Dhokla into 5cm cubes. Garnish it with coriander.
